Dr. Sara Logan, DDS
Dr. Sara Logan is a special kind of dentist. Her gentle touch and warm, caring manner will help both adults and children truly enjuoy their dental experience. She will treat you just like your were part of her family.
Dr Logan became interested in dentistry in when she wrote a paper on dentistry in the 7th grade. A Colorado native, she graduated from Chatfield High School, got her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, and earned her doctorate from the University of Colorado, School of Dentistry.
Most recently Dr Logan practiced general dentistry in Moses Lake Washington. But the love of Colorado has drawn her back to Castle Rock where she has set up her own practice.
When asked about how she wants to be known in her practice, her eyes light up and a smile comes across her face, and she says, “I want to treat my patients like they were my grandmother”.
What does she mean by that? It means that you will be treated with respect.
You will be treated gently and in a caring manner. This will be accomplished by the use of the most modern techniques and equipment available. Equipment such as an intra-oral camera, that allows you and her to see magnified images of your teeth and digital radiography which helps reduce the amount of radiation you receive.
For those that are anxious and nervous about seeing a dentist, Dr. Logan offers nitrous oxide for sedation.
As a general dentist Dr Logan can do just about anything that you need done to your teeth. The procedures range from teeth whitening, cleaning, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, to preventive and restorative dentistry.
There are two themes that keep coming out when talking with Dr Logan about her practice.
The first and perhaps most important is that she wants you to feel welcome in her office … just like you were going to visit her at home. Gentle. Caring. Respected. Attentive. Concerned. Are words that come to mind when describing Dr Logan and her practice.
The second is that she is a solo practitioner.
This is not a satellite office that she is at a few days a week. She is here full time. Dr. Logan is not part of a chain or group. So when an emergency occurs and you are one of her patients, you will get her when you call.
